I kind of like fancy mirrors. Until Baby Girl was born, I didn’t own a single one. All we had were the builder-grade bathroom mirrors. Boring. I decided I wanted mirrors to be part of the collage wall. I kept my eyes open for them at “the shop” (a.k.a. the thrift store).
This was the first one I found.
You are jealous, I know. Who wouldn’t want a neon green mirror? Since the green really didn’t match the room’s color scheme I knew I had to paint it. Break out the spray paint! I painted it a gloss black. It took a few coats to cover up the neon glow. It looks a hundred times better now!
I also found a couple of similar, smaller, ones. One black, one gold, both plastic.
I painted the gold one pink, along with a full-length mirror from the shop, and left the other one black.
Can you spot all three on the wall?
The full length mirror I put on the small closet door, at her height. I can raise it as she grows.
